Adams Oshiomole Sponsoring Thugs, Edo Deputy Governor Reveals

Comrade Philip Shaibu, the deputy Governor of Edo State and also a running mate to the People’s Democratic Party candidate claims that former NLC Chairman, Adams Oshiomole is giving support to thugs financially and other means to cause riot and chaos ont the state.

This was revealed during Godwin Obaseki’s running mate interview with Nigerian Tribune.

He also made it clear that Oshiomole is bringing in thugs and assassin and also arming youths in the state.

Shaibu says he get’s information from occupants of the former All Progressives Congress (APC) Chairman’s house, he claims they are his friends.

“These same boys are my friends and they tell me themselves. It is true; Oshiomhole is stockpiling arms ahead of the governorship election.”

Shaibu recalled how he received information that Oshiomhole was bringing assassins into Edo state and told the security agencies but they thought he was joking.

“One of them told me that they were going to do that and I alerted the security agencies that I got information that there were plans to disrupt our campaigns and where they would be coming from,” he told Nigerian Tribune.

He also added they’ve already given reports to the law enforcement agencies, and he hopes quick intervention and measures would be out in place to protect the lives and property of the people of Edo state.
