


The online protest against the disbandment of Special Armed Response Squad (SARS) have taken a new twist after the hashtag “#ENDSARSNOW” is the number one trending on New York Twitter.

Recall that, SARS officers in some part of the country were extorting and killing innocent Nigerians some weeks back, and the government seeming not concerned, Celebrities and Youths have then taken to the street to start protests on the micro-blogging platforms, and physically in Lagos, Abuja and some other places until their voices are heard.
